Cashmere High School is a co-educational state secondary school that welcomes international students. The school is well known for academic excellence and its arts and music programmes. On offer is a broad range of subjects, an Intensive English programme, an outdoor education programme and a variety of sporting and extracurricular activities.

Cashmere High School has a very impressive visual arts programme, in Years 12 and 13 students can specialise in art design, art painting, art photography and art print making. A high number of our students achieve excellence in this area and go on to tertiary study in fine arts, design, animation, graphics and photography.
Outdoor Education is available as part of our curriculum for those students interested in the great New Zealand outdoors.
Cashmere has a new gymnasium, a number of playing fields and tennis/netball courts available for sports.
