Global Pathways to New Zealand:
Upon successful completion of the first two years (144 points) of advanced Food Technology at HCMUT, students will progress directly to the University of Otago Bachelor of Science (majoring in Food Science). Students will graduate with a Bachelor of Science (Food Science major only) following two years of successful full-time study with Otago (2 years + 2 years).

The Bachelor of Science (BSc) is a three-year undergraduate degree which enables each student to develop his or her own interests in a science subject (science major) and related subjects. Students have the flexibility to combine their major subject with other science subjects, as well as subjects from other disciplines across the University.
To be admitted to the Otago BSc programme, students will need to meet the following requirements: *completion of the first two years of advanced Food Technology at HCMUT with a minimum B grade average or 75% (or equivalent) and *IELTS score of 6.0 in the academic module (with no individual band below 6.0)
