Summary

The fully online Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (Level 7) will provide students with the opportunity to develop and/or broaden their expertise in IT by studying a field suited to their current experience and/or qualifications.

All you need to get started is an undergraduate degree (other than open Polytechnic’s Bachelor of Information Technology), or have successfully completed our Graduate Certificate in Information Technology (Level 7). You will study a number of courses to complete 120 credits required for the qualification from a variety of options to suit your career goals or interests.

You can study this programme if you are a New Zealand citizen living overseas, an International student living overseas or an international student living in New Zealand and are working part-time with a verified work permit.

Entry criteria

An undergraduate degree (other than open Polytechnic’s Bachelor of Information Technology), or have successfully completed our Graduate Certificate in Information Technology (Level 7).

IELTS test – an Academic score of 6, with no band score lower than 5.5.
Cambridge English Qualifications - B2 First, or B2 First for Schools, or C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill.
