The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology (Level 7) will provide you with the opportunity to develop and/or broaden your expertise in IT by studying a field suited to your current experience and/or qualifications. All you need to get started is an undergraduate degree (other than open Polytechnic’s Bachelor of Information Technology). You will study three courses from a variety of options to suit your career goals or interests.

The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology (Level 7) will provide you with a range of IT specialist skills and practices in a chosen specialist field. If currently employed, you will gain valuable opportunities to incorporate work-related learning that may build on an existing role or equip you for new responsibilities.
Students are required to complete 60 credits, with a minimum of 40 credits at Level 7.
You can study this programme part-time if you’re an international student living in New Zealand or overseas. If you’re living in New Zealand you will need to be in paid employment with a valid work permit.
To study this programme you need an undergraduate degree other than Open Polytechnic’s Bachelor of Information Technology.
IELTS test – an Academic score of 6, with no band score lower than 5.5.
Cambridge English Qualifications - B2 First, or B2 First for Schools, or C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill.
