Students will learn skills and knowledge of exercise prescription across a variety of exercise environments. Students will learn how to design and deliver advanced technical and personalised exercise programmes to meet the needs of their clients.
Practical work is a major component of the study, enabling students to graduate ready to hit the ground running.
Graduates of the programme will be eligible to register with the New Zealand Register of Exercise Professionals.

Students will have access to free study preparation courses, academic resources, a specialist student learning services team, library filled with resources and staffed by expert librarians, a dedicated team for Māori and Pasifika support, disability support services, and affordable health care on campus.
Graduates will be eligible to register with the New Zealand Register of Exercise Professionals, and may be employed or self-employed as an exercise consultant, community exercise instructor, team training instructor or personal trainer, or continue onto higher study.
