Summary

This course will help you in preparing for the IELTS examination. This course includes intensive IELTS preparation and practice. Students will be trained in all the four modules reading, writing, listening and speaking. This course can be either taken as a stand-alone course or in conjunction with General English classes if these are required. The Certificate in English (Advanced) is an approved course by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. The IELTS (the International English Language Testing System) is a test to check English language ability. Students appear in Academic IELTS with the purpose of studying at tertiary level, which is one of the entry requirements at PTE’s, Universities and Polytechnics. People who are looking for registration in their areas of specialisation; for examples Nurses, Doctors, Teachers etc they also appear in Academic IELTS. Some people appear in General IELTS as per their immigration category requirements. Certificate in English (Advanced) will help you in preparing for IELTS (both General and Academic) examination. This course includes intensive IELTS preparation and practice. Students will be trained in all the four modules: Reading; Writing; Listening; Speaking. The aim of the IELTS preparation course is to teach you to: Listen, understand and write about what is said in audio conversations; Speak and discuss your opinions with native speakers with a level of fluency and spontaneity; Read and understand the main points of complex academic writing; Understand, and write, clear formal academic texts on a wide range of topics; Develop IELTS test-taking strategies. Applicants must be 16 years old or above and must hold a valid visa with a study permission. Course starts: Every Monday (Except during school holidays).
