Summary

This course is a Flight Attendant Training Programme for those interested in a career as a flight attendant. The training you will receive will give you an in-depth understanding of the role and prepare you to apply to airlines. This is the most comprehensive flight attendant training course available in Australasia. Some of your training will take place at our airport campus - NZ’s best flight attendant training facility.

Mentoring & Coaching

You will have your own personal mentor and coach throughout the course that meets with you every six weeks for a one-on-one meeting to discuss your goals, talk employment and ensure you are work ready.

Next Step

You have a choice once you graduate from this qualification to either seek employment or complete the one year Level 5 New Zealand Diploma in Tourism and Travel.

Entry criteria

All international students must:

  • be a minimum of 18 years of age on the day 1 of course (as per code of practice requirements)
  • Have completed Secondary School offshore or New Zealand Year 12 or equivalent work experience.

English Language Proficiency:

  • IELTS: Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5
  • TOEFL Paper-based Test (pBT) where the test was carried out prior to 1 October 2017: Score of 550 (with an essay score of 5 TWE)
  • TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT): Score of 46 (with a writing score of 14)
  • Cambridge English Qualifications: B2 First or B2 First for schools with a score of 162. No less than 154 in each skill
  • OET: Minimum of Grade C or 200 in all sub-tests
  • NZCEL: Level 4 (General) or (Employment)
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic): PTE (Academic) score of 42 with no band score lower than 36
  • LanguageCert: B2 Communicator IESOL (LRWS) with HIGH PASS and no less than Pass in each skill
  • Trinity ISE: ISE II with no less than merit in any band
