This programme aims to empower Learners by providing understandings, knowledge and skills, along with attitudes and values, of key functions of Leadership and Management. There is a strong focus on an applied Business Projects within a work-Integrated learning framework that will provide ‘real world’ skills that will enable Learners to hit the ground running when they enter the workforce. With core skills and professional practice provided in the strand together with ‘employability’ skills such as problem solving and communication, this qualification meets the needs of today’s employers. The programme also aims to educate and equip Learners in a Professional Honour Code with a view to demonstrating strong work ethics and professional conduct at all times.

Graduates with the Leadership and Management strand will be able to work or gain employment as a trainee manager, assistant manager, assistant team leader, supervisor, coordinator, team leader role at an operational level within New Zealand business entities.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over and hold a student permit to study at the College. For more information, please check entry criterion with administration.
