Career & Study Outcomes
UCOL's Graduate Diploma in Accounting comprises six compulsory courses, each worth 15 credits (except for Industry Project B which is worth 30 credits) as follows:
The Graduate Diploma is well supported by industry and this strong industry involvement means that students are able to apply their knowledge and skills and develop an analytical approach to real world problems and issues.
A bachelor's degree in any field excluding Accounting; or
Alternative: Level 6 or 7 Diploma and relevant work and/or life experience (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree) or Evidence of equivalent practical, professional or educational experience e.g. 3 - 5 years full time work experience [relevant to business studies].
Applicants whose first language is not English must have an IELTS (or equivalent including TOEFL) score of 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5. TOEFL (iBT): Score of 60 (with a writing score of 18); Cambridge B2 First (for Schools), C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency: B2, C1, or C2 with score of 169; no less than 162 in each skill; OET: Minimum Grade C or 200 in all subtests; PToE (Academic): Score of 50 with no band less than 42. UCOL is a TOEFL iBT testing centre. The English Proficiency test is accepted for English language entry into all UCOL programmes.
