If English is not your first language, this course will give you the skills and knowledge to communicate in English language through reading, writing, speaking and listening at an advanced level. Graduates of this programme will: Comprehend a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning; Express themselves fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions; Use language flexibly and effectively for social and professional purposes; Produce clear, well structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices. For students to be considered to have satisfactorily completed this programme they must have: Attended for not less than 90% of the timetabled class hours and other scheduled learning activities relating to the programme. Completed all scheduled course work requirements and assessments. Application Criteria: Completed application form, Passport, Evidence of academic success. Dates: Courses start every Monday.
