With the IT Service Science major in the Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences you learn to analyse, design, procure and implement information technology solutions.

IT service science is the foundation for secure, well-designed technology solutions that enhance people’s lives. In this major you develop the skills to manage IT installations and draw up service-level contracts, manage security and implement internet solutions.

Entry criteria

All applicants need to meet AUT’s minimum entry requirements qualification equivalent to New Zealand year 13 or University Entrance.

Useful New Zealand school subjects:

Calculus, Digital Technologies, Mathematics, Statistics

English Language requirements:

IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall with all bands 5.5 or higher; or equivalent; TOEFL iBT score of 80; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with B/B+ grade; GIE with B grade; CAE minimum overall score of 169; PTE minimum overall score of 50.
