UC College of Engineering International Scholarship

Purpose of award

This scholarship recognises top international scholars and supports them in study towards an undergraduate Engineering degree at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. Ten of the thirty scholarships are reserved for citizens or Permanent Residents of Malaysia.

Selection criteria

Eligibility

The scholarship is tenable by full-time students in a BE(Hons) degree programme at the University. Recipients must be full-fee-paying international students. Applicants may not be:

a. citizens of New Zealand or Australia; or

b. Permanent Residents of Australia; or

c. holders of New Zealand residence class visas.

Number of awards offered

Currently , fifteen scholarships are available

Value

$15,000-$25,000 per annum

Tenure of award

2-4 years

How do students apply?

You may apply through this webpage approximately 8 weeks before applications close. If it’s possible to apply on-line for this scholarship there will be a link above to the on-line system. If the link is not provided, please download and complete the application form located below.

However, if the scholarship is managed by Universities NZ or another department of the University an External Website link will appear below and application instructions will be available through that link.

The online application system will begin accepting applications eight weeks before the closing date.
