PhD Scholarship - Economics of Disasters

Purpose of award

Applicants must be well-trained, empirically bent students with an interest in insurance markets, agricultural or health economics, and/or economic geography.

Selection criteria

A Master Degree in Economics (or a related discipline) is required. Good knowledge of STATA or GIS is preferable.

Number of awards offered

Two to three scholarships will be awarded.

Value

$25,000 annual stipend plus tuition fees.

Tenure of award

The scholarship will be held for up to three years.
