The main purpose of the Scholarships is to attract international students of high calibre to pursue a research doctoral degree in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.
Selection will be based on academic merit (measured by the grade point average assessed over the applicant's two most recent years of equivalent full-time study), quality of the applicant's research proposal and endorsements by the proposed supervisor and Head of School.
Up to $27,000 stipend, compulsory fees, relocation grant, and health insurance.
Up to 36 months.
Please note, Scholarships usually open for application approximately 6 weeks before the closing date.
Applications are made by form to the Scholarships Office.
Students are required to take up their scholarship within five months of it being awarded. The latest possible date for registration is 1 November in the year of the award.
