Van-Thanh Nguyen PhD Engineering Scholarship

Purpose of award

The purpose of the scholarship is to assist citizens of Vietnam to study postgraduate Engineering at the University of Auckland.

Selection criteria

The basis of selection will be academic achievement, financial need and suitability of the proposed study in New Zealand.

This Scholarship will be available to candidates who are:

a) citizens of Vietnam; and

b) eligible to apply to enrol in a PhD degree in the Faculty of Engineering.

How do students apply?

Please note, Scholarships usually open for application approximately 6 weeks before the closing date.

NOTE: Application can be accessed from the University of Auckland scholarships website http://www.auckland.ac.nz/scholarships.

Additional information

The Scholarship will have an annual value of up to $10,000 for up to four years. The Scholarship will be paid in two equal installments annually, one in the first an one in the second semester of eligible study. The student will be required to pay all other fees, costs etc inherent in pursuing study at the University of Auckland as an international student.
