PhD scholarship on Accessing Assisted Reproduction: Social Infertility and Family Formation

Eligibility Criteria

The research aims to ensure that all people in Aotearoa are able to create families regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, or ability. 

Candidates must be eligible to study in New Zealand. The scholarship offered is conditional on acceptance into the university. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in the A range or a first-class honours degree. 

The scholarship is for a total of three years full-time. All fees will be
covered. The candidate can be based at AUT (Auckland) and will be co-supervised by Sharyn Davies and Rhonda Shaw.

  • CV (2 pages maximum);
  • Certified copies of academic transcripts;
  • 2-page outline of your research skills and experience;
  • 1-page summary of your motivations for and goals in undertaking a PhD;
  • An outline of your proposed PhD topic that fits within the project described above (1,000 words).
