Computer Power Plus (CPP) is a specialist IT training provider who has been helping thousands of people into IT careers for over 40 years.  We offer industry recognised practical qualifications in a unique, self-directed learning environment.

More than 90% of our eligible graduates have been successfully placed into employment within the IT industry. We offer an exceptional level of free support to graduates in this area and work closely with a large network of IT employers.

CPP offers monthly enrolments for international students and flexible timetable options to allow students to study full-time and work part-time.

Students study on campus following a personalized schedule agreed to at enrolment, with qualified and experienced instructors available to guide students to achieve study goals.

Students undertake their self-directed studies in a large open training room which is set up with individual student workstations, equipped with computers connected to a local area network. For students studying computer hardware, we have purpose-built labs to help students advance their knowledge of different computer components

Our courses include group activities such as orientation sessions, group development projects, employment preparation workshops and professional development programmes

Social events are often organised so students can connect more with other students and staff
Canterbury stretches from ocean to the Alps, and is a land of plains and peaks. It is a place of variety and innumerable attractions.

Within two hours of an international airport, you can ski, play golf, bungy jump, go whitewater rafting, mountain biking, wind surfing, whale watching, and visit world-class vineyards and gardens. Where else in the world can you do that?

A must-see is New Zealand’s highest peak, Aoraki Mount Cook. Go hiking in Arthur’s Pass National Park or just wander around the picturesque bays and villages of Banks Peninsula. And then there’s New Zealand's second-largest city, Christchurch known as 'The Garden City'.

Christchurch is a beautiful city where you can cycle alongside the river, stay in good hotels and indulge in fine sophisticated dining, and a city where, just 15 minutes from the centre, you can scramble up mountain bike tracks or ride a wave at a surf beach.
