English Language School

Language Schools New Zealand (LSNZ) - Queenstown is a small private language school with a warm and friendly atomosphere. The school is on the top floor of a shopping centre and there are lots of shops, restaurants and a food court in the same building. The bus stop is just in front of the building entrance. All of our teachers are professionally qualified and very experienced. Our friendly administration staff are always happy to help students. As well as General English courses, our Study & Ski/Snowboard courses are very popular. We also offer COMBO course, allowing our students to also study in Auckland and Napier. We have Job Club and support students to find a job. Every week we arrange many activities for students! Make the most of your time here in New Zealand with us!

There are 7 classrooms, a student lounge, a kitchen, and decks with great mountain views. Students can use a fridge, microwaves and hot water in the kitchen for preparing their lunch. There are 5 computers for students to use and Wifi connection is free. We have installed large screens and Apple TV in the classrooms. Our students and teachers always enjoy this new technology in their lessons. The table soccer game in the lounge is very popular for our students. Students can also use soccer balls, frisbees, darts etc.
Queenstown is one of New Zealand’s top visitor destinations and if you come to the region you’ll understand why.
The town sits on the shore of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu among dramatic ranges.

The lake and mountain landscape make it suited to all kinds of adventure. There’s skiing in the winter and activities such as bungy jumping, sky diving, canyon swinging, jet boating, horse trekking and river rafting all year round. If hardcore adventure isn't your thing, there are plenty of mellow options available. Experience one of the many walking and hiking trails, sightseeing tours or indulge yourself  with spa treatments, boutique shopping and excellent food and wine.

Head out of Queenstown and the drama of the Central Otago landscape unfolds around you. If you’re a Lord of the Rings fan you’ll recognise many of the locations of Middle-earth here. Twenty minutes from Queenstown, Arrowtown’s gold-mining history is alive and vibrant. Visit the Lakes District Museum or go gold panning. Forty minutes from Queenstown at the northern tip of Lake Wakatipu is rural Glenorchy and Paradise Valley. From here it’s a short drive into the Mt Aspiring National Park and the start of some of New Zealand’s great walks.
