Ilam School provides a high quality learning experience for all students. It provides a safe environment for every child with a strong emphasis on individual needs. The school adjoins Canterbury University, is close to shopping malls and has large playing fields. Children are offered a wide range of experiences through outdoor education,music and dance as well as a strong English language programme. Christchurch is a beautiful city where you can cycle alongside the river, stay in good hotels and indulge in fine sophisticated dining, and a city where, just 15 minutes from the centre, you can scramble up mountain bike tracks or ride a wave at a surf beach.
