Ms Ardern is keen to encourage young people to apply for New Zealand’s new Follow the Kiwi scholarship, which gives students a chance to study in the country ranked #1 at preparing students for the future by The Economist Intelligence Unit.
Students in New Zealand are able to choose from a wide range of subjects and learn practical, hands-on skills as well as receiving an excellent academic education.
It’s a way of learning that helps students to develop in-demand skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking and teamwork.
Students live in a safe, welcoming, open and free country, with support from high-quality teachers and caring host families.
Studying in New Zealand is also a great way for students to perfect their English.
If you’re from Germany, France or Italy and aged 14-17, you’re eligible to apply for the Follow the Kiwi scholarship to study at a New Zealand high school.
To enter, just create a motivational letter, online blog, short video or photo collage saying why you’d like to study in New Zealand. Learn more about the scholarship here.
Get your application in by 31 May 2018, and you could be on your way to seeing a real kiwi in person in New Zealand!
